Update APN
Manual Network

Follow these steps to update the APN on your Netgear Orbi router for optimal connectivity.
- Download the NETGEAR Orbi App: If you haven't already, download and install the NETGEAR Orbi app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Open the App: Launch the NETGEAR Orbi app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Log in with NETGEAR Account: Log in with your NETGEAR account credentials or create an account if you don't have one. This account is used to manage your NETGEAR devices and access cloud services.
- Connect to Your Router: Make sure your device is connected to the Orbi network.
- Router Admin Login: When prompted, log in to the router's admin interface. The default username is
admin

if the former does not work). - Go to Router Settings: Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) or the settings icon on the main screen to access the router settings.
- Access Mobile Settings: Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Mobile > APN.
- Add a New APN: Tap on Add to create a new APN profile.
- Enter APN Details: In the APN field, type the required APN (reach out to our support for this) and leave all other fields blank.
- Save the Settings: Tap on Save or Apply to save the new APN settings.
- Restart the Router: Reboot your Netgear Orbi router to apply the new settings.
- Verify Connection: After rebooting, check your internet connection to ensure it is working properly.

Follow these steps to manually select a network on your Netgear Orbi router for better control.

- Select Your Preferred Network: A list of available networks will appear. Select your preferred network from the list (e.g., Rogers, Bell, or Telus).
- Save the Settings: Tap on Save or Apply to save your network selection.
- Restart the Router: Reboot your Netgear Orbi router to apply the new network settings.
- Verify Connection: After rebooting, check your internet connection to ensure it is working properly with your selected network.
